See AIIMS 2016 Cut Off

All India Institute of Medical Sciences / AIIMS 2016 is the national wise top  level undergraduate medical entrance exam  conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission in to 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institution located at different parts of the country.

AIIMS MBBS 2016 result will be  declared till 14th June, 2016. Before result AIIMS issues cut off for AIIMS MBBS exam. AIIMS MBBS 2016 cut off will be one of the major factors in delimiting candidates for merit list.

What is Cut Off?

Cut off score is the minimum qualifying marks secures by candidates to qualify the entrance test. The Cutoff score depends on  various factors such as availability of seats, number of applicants and difficulty level in the entrance examination.

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Cut Off

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Cut Off will be determined on the basis of various factors. They are previous year cut off, number of  applicants , tough  level of exam, performance of all the candidates, availability of seats etc.  Individual performance do not influence  the cut off, only aggregate performance of candidates is considered while determining the AIIMS 2016 cutoff.

Salient Features of AIIMS 2016 Cut Off

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Cut Off is mainly referred  by the percentile set for each category. For admission in every AIIMS, same rule will be followed. AIIMS MBBS 2016 cutoff is given below:

  • General Category students must score 50% marks
  • S.C / ST Candidates must secure 40% marks in written exam
  • OBC candidates will have to secure 45% marks to qualify the exam.

OPH candidates do have any additional provision in this. They will have to secure mark as per the category they belong to. On the basis of AIIMS MBBS 2016 cut off Marks candidates will be selected for merit list. On the basis of merit list candidates will be called for counselling.
