AIIMS MBBS 2019 – AIIMS MBBS 2019 is a national level undergraduate medical entrance test to enroll students into MBBS program presented at 9 AIIMS in the country. Nearly 3 lakh medical aspirants register each year. With the growing number of participating, the level of test and cut offs also raises. Read on to be familiar with more regarding AIIMS MBBS.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be held on 25 and 26 May 2019. The entrance test of AIIMS MBBS 2019 was held in online mode, as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in two slots – morning and evening – over two consecutive days. On both days, each slot of the test took place for duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes and the AIIMS MBBS 2019 students were needed to appear according the slot allotted to them. According the students who took the test, the overall difficulty level of the question paper was average. Physics was the toughest section as compared to all other sections.

The result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 was declared on 12 June, 2019, in the form of merit list and individual percentile scorecards. Students can see and download their percentile scorecards by logging in through their AIIMS MBBS account. AIIMS New Delhi declared roll number-wise and rank-wise merit list which includes all the students who have qualified the entrance test. The inclusion in the merit list implies that the students are eligible for the counselling procedure.  The number of students who have qualified the test will be four times the number of seats present for admission to AIIMS MBBS 2019.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 aspirants can apply for seats at the AIIMS Guntur and AIIMS Nagpur campuses as well. Aspirants appearing for the AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance test will be considered for 800 seats across nine different AIIMS institutions. AIIMS New Delhi along with the other AIIMS institutions situated in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh will offer 100 seats each. The two new AIIMS in Guntur and Nagpur will offer 50 seats each for this year.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2019

AIIMS MBBS Seats and Reservation 2019

A total of 800 seats will be presented for admissions across the nine AIIMS institutions through AIIMS MBBS 2019. The official seat matrix and reservation information were declared through the AIIMS MBBS 2019 prospectus on February. There has been a raise in the total number of seats present per category as can be seen in the table below. Until 2017, general students were eligible for 350 seats, OBC students were eligible for 189 seats, SC students were eligible for 105 seats and ST students were eligible for 56 seats. Furthermore AIIMS New Delhi offers 7 seats for foreign students. Across all the categories, 5% seats (raised from 3%) will be reserved for Orthopedic Physically Handicapped (OPH) students in each of the nine AIIMS according provision of Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

AIIMS MBBS Cut Off 2019

The Cut Off of AIIMS MBBS 2019 has been utilized to decide the students who have qualified AIIMS MBBS 2019.
